Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
NOTICE: Due to liability reasons we cannot accept returns on fuel or electronic related items after they are used. If you have an issue with your items please Contact Us for a resolution.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
There are some items that will be ineligible for free shipping due to shipping sizes and weights, i.e. tires, wheels, exhaust pipes, batteries, etc.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
Dealer Drop-Ship Orders
The following terms apply to orders where JRC Engineering ships product directly from our Perris, CA warehouse to a dealer's end customer, on the dealer's behalf. These terms apply in place of the standard retail terms above for drop-ship orders specifically.
Order Submission & Shipping
Drop ship orders may be submitted through the JRC wholesale ordering portal or by PO submitted to your JRC dealer account representative. Orders placed before 12:00 PM Pacific are typically processed for same-day shipment, subject to parts availability; orders received after cutoff or requiring backorder fulfillment ship the next business day.
Drop ship orders ship via ground parcel service — FedEx, UPS, USPS, or DHL, depending on carrier availability, cost, and destination at the time of shipment. Parts too large or heavy for parcel shipment — including complete exhaust systems, wheel/rim sets, fuel tanks, frames, and other freight-class items — are not eligible for the parcel drop-ship program and must be arranged as a standard LTL shipment.
Drop ship orders will only be shipped to the contiguous 48 states plus Washington, DC. Orders requesting shipment to AK, HI, PR, or a military address (APO/FPO) must be placed as a standard dealer order shipped to the dealer's own location.
The dealer is responsible for verifying the accuracy of the ship-to address and the parts/quantities ordered. No JRC packing list, invoice, or pricing information will be included in the package sent to the end consumer.
Associated Fees
- Drop-ship handling fee:
- $4.00 order valued up to $24.99
- $8.00 order $25.00 +
- For orders requiring more than one box, the $8 fee is applied per box shipped.
- Actual freight cost, based on carrier rates at time of shipment, charged in addition to the handling fee
- Additional charges apply for refused shipments, address corrections requested after label creation, or package intercept requests
If a package is returned to JRC or diverted from its original ship-to address for any reason, the dealer will be charged the original drop-ship handling fee(s), the actual return freight cost, and any applicable additional charge.
Returns
Returns on drop-shipped items must be initiated by the dealer of record, not the end customer. Dealers should contact us at info@jrcengineering.com with the original PO/order number to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) before sending anything back. Items returned without an RMA may be refused or delayed in processing.
- Return window: RMA requests must be made within 15 days of the ship date.
- Restocking fee: A 15% restocking fee applies to dealer-initiated returns (wrong part ordered, customer changed their mind, etc.). This fee is waived if the return is due to our error — wrong item shipped, defective product, or damage in transit.
- Condition requirements: Items must be unused, uninstalled, and returned in original packaging to qualify for a refund or credit.
- Electrical and fuel-system items: As with all JRC orders, we cannot accept returns on electrical or fuel-related items once installed or used, due to liability.
- Return freight: Return shipping is the dealer's responsibility unless the return is a result of our error.
- Dealer responsibility: It's the dealer's responsibility to communicate return terms to their end customer at time of sale. JRC issues credit or refund to the dealer account, not directly to the end consumer.
Title and Risk of Loss
Title to and risk of loss for drop-shipped products passes from JRC to the dealer upon delivery of the product to the carrier at JRC's loading dock in Perris, CA.
Minimum Orders
Drop-ship orders are not subject to JRC's standard minimum order handling fee, regardless of order dollar value. All other standing JRC dealer policies apply to drop-ship orders and are incorporated here by reference.
Sales Tax Nexus
When a dealer drop ships into a state where it has no physical presence, that state's economic nexus laws may require the dealer to collect and remit sales tax there. JRC strongly recommends that participating dealers provide a valid resale certificate for each state into which they plan to drop ship. If a resale certificate is not on file for a given state, applicable sales tax will be added to the dealer's invoice for shipments into that state.
